On May 16, 2024, those involved in apprenticeship and craft trades in the Île-de-France region met at the Campus des métiers et de l'entreprise in Bobigny for a morning of discussion and reflection on the future of these sectors in the region. Organized by the Chambre de métiers et de l'artisanat d'Île-de-France (CMA ÎdF), the Assises de l'apprentissage provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges, issues and opportunities that crafts and apprenticeships represent for our region.
Muriel Pénicaud, Minister of Labor from 2017 to 2020 and initiator of the law "for the freedom to choose one's professional future", closed the debates by evoking the role of apprenticeship and training in accessing full employment.
